The history

1945, Officine Meccaniche Daldoss was set up by Corrado Daldoss at the end of the Second World War. Much time has passed since then and many changes have taken place, both in Italy and internationally.

Down the path of innovation and creativity, but even more on commitment, Daldoss Elevetronic has become a powerful and solid business, providing products which are increasingly being tailored to fit the needs of the markets, both in Italy and abroad.

Evolution from workshop to World Class Company

Daldoss Elevetronic's core business is the vertical transport of people and goods. Very shortly afterwards, the product output would trasform the small workshop into a competitive company, to be recognised as the benchmark of excellence in the field of lifts and service lifts.
The company's dedication to technological innovation and the product range led to the development of a highly industrialised service lift.

In 1966, at the 15th International Inventors' Show in Brussels, Corrado Daldoss was awarded the gold medal for the first electronically-controlled service lift, the Microlift. Commercial success was immediate. This European showcase facilitated the first international contacts and the first exports were sent to Belgium, the Netherlands and West Germany.

1970, the 1000th Microlift came out off the production line. In the same year the company opened its new factory at Pergine and re-launched as Daldoss Elevetronic S.p.A.
1980, recognition as a quality manufacturer utilizing avant-garde technology soon spread out from Europe and global exports gradually began, with the Italian brand exported to Australia, Singapore, the United States and South Africa.

1990, the four product lines representing the core of the Daldoss range have come to the fore. Microfreight, the industrial goods lift, Easylife, the residential lift and Level, the lifting platform for the disabled, are manufactured alongside Microlift.
Strategically important markets have now been covered by the setting up of overseas offices, such as Daldoss Elevetronic Nederland B.V. in the Netherlands, Daldoss Elevetronic France S.A. and, more recently, Daldoss Elevetronic Asia.

In the 2000's Daldoss launched the new machine room less products DÒOne and EasyOne and at the same time undertook the start up of the manufacturing plant in Malaysia and introduced the Lean manufacturing process in the production in Italy.

2010, Daldoss expanded its product range with Level+, the automatic platform lift, Level MAP, the platform lift with costant pressure push button operation in the car and automatic operation at the landings and Microfreight Plus, the freight lift for goods with an attendant. Daldoss obtains the new CE type Certificate for Microlift and Microfreight Plus.

For architects, planners, building specialists and property owners, the quality, experience and top-class technological innovation of Daldoss is the best solution. A World Class Company.
